Sublethal Effects of Chitosan-O-Arginine, a Chitosan Based Insecticidal Compound against Green Lacewing Chrysoperla zastrowi sillemi (Esben-Petersen)

چکیده
The widespread application of synthetic chemicals leads to the unintended negative impact non-target organisms both directly or indirectly, as these can infiltrate new environments, disrupting established ecological niches. Laboratory experiments explored effects sublethal doses Cs-O-Arg third instar grubs Chrysoperla zastrowi sillemi when fed with treated and untreated larvae diamondback moth (DBM). results showed that C. grub was P. xylostella at LC25, LC35 LC45 concentrations, there 6.67 per cent mortality C all after 48 72 hours exposure. but, (LC35 LC45) were xylostella, only 3.33 10.00 grubs, respectively. Whereas, caused 33.33 provided DBM feed, whereas treatment LC25 concentrations resulted in highest pupation percentage (76.67%) adult emergence rate (73.33%) same concentration. Chitosan derivative insecticide causes a mild adverse on survival economically significant insect predator sillemi, which hold valuable implications for guiding decisions regarding compatible utilization insecticides alongside other natural predators within integrated pest management strategies.

Chlorpyrifos, lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, spinosad and buprofezin were tested against the second instar larvae and adults (except buprofezin) of the green lacewing, Chrysoperla carnea. The results showed that chlorpyrifos was more toxic to second instar larvae than lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, spinosad and buprofezin with LC50 values of 1.78, 8.81, 26.9, 294.36 and 997.05 ppm respect...
متن کاملAn Overview of the Protective Effects of Chitosan and Acetylated Chitosan Oligosaccharides against Neuronal Disorders
Chitin is the second most abundant biopolymer on Earth and is mainly comprised of a marine invertebrate, consisting of repeating β-1,4 linked N-acetylated glucosamine units, whereas its N-deacetylated product, chitosan, has broad medical applications. Interestingly, chitosan oligosaccharides have therapeutic effects on different types of neuronal disorders, including, but not limited to, Alzhei...

A novel arginine-rich chitosan (CS) derivates mimicked cell penetration peptides; N-Arginine chitosan (N-Arg-CS) was prepared by two reaction methods involving activated L-arginine and the amine group on the chitosan. FTIR spectra showed that arginine was chemically coupled with CS. Elemental analysis estimated that the degrees of substitution (DS) of arginine in CS were 6%, 31.3% and 61.5%, re...

Avermectin-grafted-N,O-carboxymethyl chitosan (NOCC) derivative was obtained by esterification reaction using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) as dehydrating agent and 4-methylaminopyridine as catalyst. The structures of the conjugate were confirmed by FT-IR, (1)H NMR, and XRD. Insecticidal activities against armyworms, carmine spider mites, black bean aphids, and brown plant hoppers were investi...
